Before taking this medicine: Do not use this medicine: if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or to menthol. if you are under 12 years of age if you are pregnant or breast feeding if you are taking any medicines known to interact with alcohol (e.g. metronidazole) Contains alcohol and therefore may impair ability to drive or operate machines. If affected do not drive or use machines. Important information about some ingredients: This medicine contains: 3.6 g sucrose, 2.6 g glucose, and 2.6 g fructose in each dose (10 ml). This should be taken into account in patients withdiabetes mellitus. If your doctor has told you that you (or your child) have an intolerance to some sugars, or if you have been diagnosed with hereditary fructose intolerance (HFI) a rare genetic disorder in which a person cannot break down fructose talk to your doctor before you (or your child) take or receive this medicine. It may also be harmful to the teeth. Carmoisine (E122), Sunset Yellow (E110), sodium methyl hydroxybenzoate (E219) and sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate (E217), which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed), e.g. itching, swelling of the tongue, lips, eyes, and hands, and wheeziness. If this happens, seek medical help immediately. 4.6% v/v ethanol (alcohol) or 198 mg per 10 ml dose, equivalent to 5 ml beer or 2 ml wine. The small amount of alcohol in this medicine will not have any noticeable effects if taken as recommended. This may be harmful for those suffering from alcoholism and should be considered if you have liver disease or epilepsy. Reporting of side effects: No side effects have been reported for this product.
