Cases of high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA) due to pyroglutamic acidosis have been observed in patients with risk factors using paracetamol. If HAGMA due to pyroglutamic acidosis is suspected, prompt discontinuation of paracetamol and close monitoring is recommended. Do not store above 25C.
